OPPO ENCO BUDS
Enco is OPPO’s all-new range of wireless earbuds, and for their launch, W+K Delhi wanted to make sure the world was listening. You can’t have a headphone ad without a song that stays with you, so we linked up with a bonafide modern hip-hop sensation. Tamil-Canadian artist Shan Vincent de Paul stars, sings, directs and dances in the 60-second film, with his eclectic troupe alongside.
They bring out the product’s core feature of a 24-hour uptime with a surreal time-lapse-trip somewhere over Mumbai/Toronto. Dawn rolls into day rolls into dusk once the leading man pops in his Encos and disappears into the groovy mellowness of ‘Unnai Pathu’ off his latest album.
Sidenote: Aside from being the earworm that it is, the track also marks a rare lyrical appearance of a non-Hindi language in a mainstream India-wide ad.

24 HOURS OF MUSIC
Following the launch of the ‘play-all-day’ Oppo Enco Wireless buds, W+K Delhi helped OPPO host a 24-hour YouTube concert. Fittingly titled ‘Unpause’, this one-of-a-kind livestream was headlined by the biggest names in the Indian music scene, with artists ranging from indie, hip-hop, electronic, and everyone else in between. As a neat bit of synergy, we borrowed the festival identity and artist promotions from the launch film itself, featuring surreal lighting that changed from the orange hues of dawn to the dark shades of night as the hours (and the performances) went by.
